Resuming the Journey: Last Knight's Musical Odyssey Continues

Emerging from the shadows after a challenging hiatus due to Jose Manuel Medina's prolonged illness, Last Knight is poised to reignite the flames of creativity. Despite a year of dormancy, the project now embarks on a new chapter: The Lords of Wisdom trilogy. The trilogy consists of three episodes of two albums each, covering more than 100 musical songs as well as additional recordings with covers and material that was discarded. 1. The saga commences with "Last Knight - The Lords of Wisdom Episode I: Reconquista." This album delves into the dawn of the Middle Ages, chronicling the tumultuous era following the Muslim conquest of Hispania. Against this backdrop, the reconquest of territories unfolds, shaping the Christian kingdoms amidst the splendor of Al-Andalus.

2. Next in line is "Last Knight - The Lords of Wisdom Episode I: Outremer." Here, the narrative unfolds against the backdrop of the Crusades in the Middle East. It's a tale of Europe's fervent quest for new horizons, as armies from distant Christian realms converge in a bid for a fresh start in foreign lands.

3. Transitioning to "Last Knight - The Lords of Wisdom Episode II: Imperator," the spotlight shifts to medieval Central Europe, spanning pivotal moments including the Carolingian Empire. Within this sonic tapestry, echoes of empires rise and fall, weaving a rich tapestry of historical intrigue.

4. Continuing the saga, "Last Knight - The Lords of Wisdom Episode II: Lionheart" offers a multifaceted exploration of medieval lore. From the legendary tales of Camelot to the valiant exploits of crusaders like Richard the Lionheart, the album paints a vivid portrait of medieval life across diverse realms. 5. The penultimate chapter, "Last Knight - The Lords of Wisdom Episode III: Apocalypse," delves into the mystical depths of the Middle Ages. Themes of witchcraft, alchemy, and the haunting specter of the Black Death cast a spellbinding aura, capturing the essence of a bygone era fraught with both wonder and despair.

6. And finally, "Last Knight - The Lords of Wisdom III: Sanctuary" serves as the epic conclusion to the saga. This album explores the construction of cathedrals and the spirituality of medieval times, alongside pilgrimages and the complex interplay of factions within the Catholic Church.

Despite setbacks, including the loss of recordings due to a studio accident, the project has persevered. Rescued recordings, featuring grand orchestrations, choirs, and traditional medieval instruments, now meld seamlessly with contemporary elements, crafting an extensive symphony of modern symphonic rock.

As Last Knight embarks on this ambitious journey, each album stands as a testament to the resilience of creativity in the face of adversity. Join us as we traverse the annals of history, where the past is brought to life through the power of sound, and the spirit of adventure knows no bounds.
